When we travel, managing money in different countries can quickly become a hassle — hidden bank fees, poor exchange rates, and unexpected charges add up. That’s why we rely on Revolut as our primary money tool for travel.
Revolut makes spending and withdrawing money abroad simple and cost-effective. It supports multiple currencies, offers competitive exchange rates, and allows us to track expenses, set budgets, and freeze cards instantly if needed. Whether we’re buying coffee in a cafe, paying for fuel, or withdrawing cash at an ATM overseas, Revolut reduces unnecessary fees and gives us control over our travel finances straight from our phone.

Roamic eSIM – Stay Connected Anywhere
Reliable mobile data is essential while traveling — for navigation, communication, booking, work, or emergencies. Instead of dealing with local SIM cards in every country we visit, we use eSIM services for quick and flexible data connectivity. An eSIM lets us activate a data plan without a physical SIM, which is perfect when we’re on the move.
We’ve tried several eSIM providers over different trips, and have generally found them to work well across many countries. Our choice of provider often comes down to price, coverage, and ease of setup. 5ber – eSIM, no matter your phone
Not all smartphones support eSIM out of the box. In our case, my phone doesn’t support eSIM natively, so instead of replacing the device, I started using 5ber.
5ber is a physical SIM card that allows you to load and use eSIM profiles even on phones that don’t officially support eSIM. It works reliably and makes it possible to use eSIM data plans without upgrading your phone.
