The Campervan Build

In March 2023, I bought a Fiat Ducato 2010, a former demo van used to showcase company products and tools. While it came with some modifications, most of them didn’t work—the electricity was faulty, the awning was broken, a window leaked, and the heating was unreliable. I spent the next year fixing issues and converting it into a campervan. It wasn’t easy, and since I had never done anything like this before, I’m incredibly proud of the final result.

The Van Build — From Empty Shell to Home

Responsive Vertical Timeline

April 2023

Where It Begins

The first step of this journey. Buying a van, understanding its flaws and potential, and slowing down before changing anything. Not a finished plan — just the beginning.

Not That Simple

The first real steps of the van build — dealing with early problems and learning what needs to be done first.

Life Got Busy

Life slowed the build down. Family time, bad weather, and unfinished work changed the pace — but not the direction. This chapter is about continuing, even when progress doesn’t look productive.

Building the Foundation

The stage where the van starts to take shape. The floor, the structure, and the base everything else will build upon. Not finished — but essential.

Feels Like Home

The moment when an empty van starts to feel more like a space and less like a project. Not finished — but finally taking shape.
